Step out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself!  

 

An Aerial Challenge Courses is a series of obstacles (elements) suspended in the air.  Participants wear a climbing harness connected to a safety cable.  (The harness utilizes state-of-the-art dual locking lanyards designed to keep participants from accidentally un-clipping themselves from the safety cable.) Our professionally trained adventure guides will provide you with instruction and assistance that will make for an challenging experience that will change your perspective and take you to higher heights!    

"Tenderfoot" Kids Course

Course Description:

Camp Dakota's "Tenderfoot" Kids Challenge Course is a great way for kids ages 7+ to step outside their comfort zone.  As they work their way through a series of 27 challenges, the elements steadily increase in difficulty and height.  The highest element is about 20' above the ground.  Each participant is tethered to a steel cable with a double locking safety lanyard for fall protection. This is a guided course so there will be one of our highly trained adventure guides there to help should the need arise.  

Physical requirements:

Participants must be at least 7 years old and may be no taller than 5'.  This course can be strenuous for a person who is in poor physical condition. Only persons who are in reasonably good physical condition should attempt a challenge course. Persons who are pregnant, suffer from chronic or repetitive injuries, who have existing injuries, a history of injuries to the back or neck, suffer from any contagious disease, or have any condition that may require immediate medical attention MAY NOT participate.  
 

All participants must sign a liability waiver and release Camp Dakota and it's employees of liability in the event of an accident. Minors under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver to participate.

"Brave / Warrior" Course Adults Course"

Brave Section Description: 

Camp Dakota's "Brave" section of the Challenge Course includes a total of 20 fun elements and is designed to test your courage and coordination in a fun and exciting way. The first portion is suspended between the trees this course starts out 12' in the air and slowing increases in height to a maximum of 25' above the ground.  Each member of your group will receive expert instruction, safety harness, and encouragement to overcome their personal limitations. Participants must be a minimum of 5 feet tall, be in good physical condition, and weight no more than 275 pounds to try this course. 

Warrior Section Description:
 

Camp Dakota's "Warrior" section of the Challenge Course is designed to challenge the most daring of adventurers!  This section includes 7 more challenging elements at double the height of the "Brave" Course and ends with a 50 rope repel back down to the ground. Participants must first complete at least 7 "Brave" course elements prior to becoming eligible to try this more advanced section of the course.

Participants must be at least 5' tall and no more than 275' LBS. This course can be strenuous for a person who is in poor physical condition.
