The Longhouse Picnic Shelter

 

Camp Dakota’s Longhouse is a 40’ X 50’ walled shelter with tables and benches to seat up to 60 people. The Longhouse also comes equipped with a propane BBQ, propane griddle, a pool table, cornhole game set, propane space heaters, and solar / battery lights. Outside the Longhouse is a volleyball net. You may bring your own propane or purchase it from us. If you need electricity you may bring a generator. The Longhouse is located next to our large group camping site # 46/47/48 and included in the cost of renting the group site. (There is a $200 refundable security / cleaning deposit due upon check-in) 

 

Things to know

 

• A $200 fully refundable security / cleaning  deposit is required upon check-in. Your security deposit will be refunded within 48 hours of your departure. 

• Parking is limited. This covered space is not intended to accommodate a large number of day-use vehicles. If you have camping sites reserved, the majority of your vehicles must park at your reserved site(s)

• All guests must vacate the Longhouse no later than 10 PM   

• The Longhouse may only be reserved in conjunction with other Camp Dakota reservations. Example: If you have a large group of people camping here, or have a large group scheduled for an event at Camp Dakota, you may reserve the Longhouse. 

• Anyone who rents the Longhouse must sign our rental agreement / parking form 

• The person who rents the Longhouse will be held financially responsible for any damage and/or cleaning expenses

• Prior to departure, the cleaning checklist must be completed. 

Prohibited activities

 

• Amplified music or amplified sound of any kind are prohibited

• Live performances of music other than acoustical are prohibited

• Music of any kind that can be heard more than 200 feet away is prohibited
