FAQ
Will full size vehicles be allowed on this series of trails?
No. This area is designated for ATV and motorcycle use only.
How many miles of trails will there be?
Compared to other riding areas, this area is relatively small. Our goal is to make this riding area the best it can be right now, and then look for areas to build more trails if possible. Right now we have a total of about six miles of trail completed. This includes the perimeter trail which basically surrounds the entire designated area. In order to make the best use of the area we have to work with right now, we are planning a series of loops within the main perimeter trail.
How difficult are the trails?
Due to the steep and rugged terrain, the difficulty level is moderate to difficult.
Will the trails be open year round?
During fire season, Oregon Department of Forestry has traditionally closed portions of the forest to off highway vehicles. CFRA is currently working with ODF officials on a plan that may allow the riding season to be extended under certain circumstances. If approved, the trails may be kept open through enactment of a Fire Protection and Prevention Plan which will require volunteers to keep fire watch and do regular patrols.
When will the trails be open?
The trails are open now! Check for fire restrictions during the summer months.
